Eulos "Buddy" R. Smith

Eulos "Buddy" R. Smith, 95, of Plainfield, passed away October 11, 2018 in Methodist Hospital. He was born January 23, 1923 in East Prairie, MO to the late Ralph and Irene Smith. Buddy worked at Link-Belt in the clerical department from 1980 until his retirement in 1995. Prior to that he worked intermittently for over 30 years at Galyan's Trading Post/Grocery Store as the meat manager. He was a 1941 graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis. Buddy was a member of Plainfield Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 16 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Virginia Smith; sons, Mike (Kathy) Smith and Scott (Teresa) Smith; grandchildren, Dustin, Timothy, Dawn, Matthew, Angela, Brandon and Colin; 12 great grandchildren.
