Fern Esther Clunie

Fern Esther Clunie, 96, of Plainfield, passed away on February 26, 2019.  She was born in Corydon, IN on July 22, 1922 to the late August and Minnie Eisenmenger.  Fern was a loving mother and dedicated homemaker.  She was a member of the St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Fern was a member of the Hendricks County Homemakers Club.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clunie.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Gethsemane Church (2510 N. Gethsemane Road NW, Corydon, IN 47112) at 12:00 (noon) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow in the cemetery located at the church.  Survivors include her son, Larry (Luanne) Clunie; daughter, Janice Dunham; grandchildren, Lisa Francis and Teddy Clunie; many beloved nieces, nephews and neighbors.  In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Gathering Together (147 N. Center Street, Plainfield, IN 46168).
