Frances "Darlene" Dare

Frances "Darlene" Dare, 91, of Plainfield, passed away on November 16, 2023.  She was born on April 18, 1932 in Steffenville, MO to the late William and Ora Lindsey.  Darlene was a secretary for Lindeman Corp for 10 years.  She belonged to the BUNCO Club and the Plainfield Christian Church.  Darlene enjoyed crafts and sewing in her free time.  She loved spending time with her family.  Darlene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ollie Dare; son, Troy Dare; grandson, Tyler Dare; several brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.  Entombment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughters, Olivia Briley and Deanna (Steve) Pruett; son, Dean Dare; daughter in law, Donna Dare; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.    Memorial contributions may be made to Steffenville Cemetery c/o Betty Knoche, 17081 State Highway 156, Ewing, MO 63440, or LaBelle Cemetery, c/o Paul Harvey, P.O.
