Gayle L. Mayo

Gayle L. Mayo, 64, Indianapolis, passed away on November 15, 2023.  She was born on November 6, 1959 to the late Wayne and Loretta Acton.  Gayle was a loving wife, mother and a dedicated homemaker.  She enjoyed reading in her free time.  Gayle loved spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Ross and Rex Acton; sister, Janet Acton.  Funeral services will be Monday, November 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her loving husband, Wayne Mayo; children, Michael Mayo, Michelle Mayo, David (Rebecca) Mayo, Suzanne (Aaron) Alfrey, Julie (Josh) Luedeman, Ashley (Lucio) Reyes, Matthew (Teresa) Mayo and Laura Mayo; brother, Ray (Linda) Acton; sisters, Fay (George) Cheeks, Kay Acton, Jane Mayo and Jill (Douglas) Albrecht; 21 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
