Gerald "Jerry" Gaedtke

Gerald "Jerry" Gaedtke, 68, of Plainfield, passed away on July 15, 2026.  He was born on September 8, 1957 in Gary, IN to the late Theodore and Muriel Gaedtke.  Jerry was a truck driver for 32 years and spent most of his career at Pace Air Freight before retiring.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, traveling with his wife, especially to Yellowstone National Park.  They also went on a KISS cruise with the actual band and that was one of the highlights of there life.  Jerry was a jack of trades.  He loved spending time with his family.  Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Kurpis.  A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.  Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Gaedtke; sons, Gerald Jr., Jeffery (April) and Jason Gaedtke; step sons, Jeff and Jason Beck; sister, Denise (Skip) White; 7 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren.
