Glen Melton

Glen E. Melton, 91, of Mooresville, passed away surrounded by loving family members on May 5, 2025.  He was born on September 27, 1933 in Mountain Grove, MO to the late Fred and Lena Melton.  Glen co-owned and operated Prock Drywall for many years.  He enjoyed yard work, gardening and dairy farming in his free time.  Glen loved spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Lakeview Church.  Glen was preceded in death by a son, Danny Melton; granddaughter, Missy Keck; siblings, Darrell Melton, Merrel Melton, Gene Melton, Madge Freeman, Gladys Baney, Ernestine McKinney, Maxine Hutchinson, Ollie Mae Proctor and Ruth Freeman. Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his loving wife, Christine Melton; daughters, Debra (Bobby) Holland and Cheryl (Robert) Rucker; son, Steven (Teresa) Melton; sister, Wanda Prock; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
