Harriett M. Coleman

Harriett M. Coleman, 98, of Clayton, IN passed away December 10, 2017. She was born October 23, 1919 in Kurtz, IN to the late Jefferson and Hattie Brown. She was a homemaker and member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville, IN. Harriett was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nathan Coleman on April 1, 1988. They were married June 19, 1937. Graveside services will be Thursday, December 14, at 11:30 am in Kurtz Cemetery, Kurtz, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, from 4:00pm - 8:00 pm. Survivors include her sons, Earl and Gerald (Mona) Coleman; daughters, Carolyn Rodenbeck, Diane (Roy) Salatin, Patricia (Jim) Hawk and Shelia (Joe) Birge; 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great,great grandchild.
