Irene Bloomer

Irene Bloomer, 101, of Coatesville, passed away on August 18, 2019.  She was born on April 13, 1918 in Hendricks County to the late Charles and Veda Rike.  Irene was a loving wife, mother and dedicated homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  Irene loved the beauty of flowers.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Bloomer; brothers, Charles and Fredrick Rike; sister, Doris Reynolds.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service.  Entombment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include her son, Jerry Bloomer; grandchildren, Bruce (Kimberly) and Terry Bloomer; great grandchildren, Kaylie Yerkes, Hannah, Alyssa and Madison Bloomer.
