Jack A. Younkers

Jack A. Younkers, 75, of Plainfield, passed away on May 18, 2025. He was born on March 6, 1950 in Hammond, IN to the late Fred and Rhoda Younkers. Jack was a United States Army Vietnam veteran. He was a supervisor for Inland Steel retiring in 2008 after 38 years. Jack enjoyed woodworking, cooking and gardening in his free time. He loved spending time with his family. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, David Carrubba. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 3:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Survivors include his loving wife, Merry Louise Younkers; son, Gary (Amanda) Younkers; daughter, Brandy (Mike) Wyatt; sister, Patricia Settle; sister in law, Sandy (Richard) Ruehl; several nieces and nephews; personal Geek Squad; dog, Wilson.
