Jacob Coltharp

Jacob M. Coltharp, 77, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026.  He was born on March 19, 1949 in Brazil, IN to the late Oliver and Mary Coltharp.  Jacob was a United States Air Force veteran.  He worked for Rolls Royce as a supervisor retiring after 40 years.  Jacob enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino in his free time.  He loved spending time with his family.  Jacob was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane and Barbara; step-son, Joe Dodson.  A Celebration of Life will be held on November 4, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Pebble Creek (225 Pebble Creek Drive, Greenwood, IN 46143) where friends may visit from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm.  Survivors include his loving wife, Cynthia Coltharp; son, Jacob D. Coltharp; step-sons, Rick (Amy) and Clint (Loretta) Dodson; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
