James T. Dees

James T. Dees, 83, of Plainfield, passed away October 12 2018.  He was born December 29, 1934 to the late Robert and Mary (Crook) Dees in Laurel County, KY.  He was at one time a Plainfield girls softball coach.   He was a lineman for PSI and later a supervisor for a total of 24 years retiring in 1994.  Jim is survived by his wife, Rella (Pettit) Dees; a son, Charles Dees; two daughters, Mary J. (Mick) Tomlin and Danita Herdel; two step-daughters, Lori Willenborg and Gail P'Pool; a brother, Thad Dees; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  A graveside memorial service will be held in Princeton, KY at a later date.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
