James C. Marks

James C. Marks, age 71, passed from this life on April 21, 2026. He was born to Robert Marks and Crystal (Walls) Marks on May 3, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana. After high-school, James worked for CSX Railroad where he had worked in many positions, starting as a locomotive mechanic, where he retired after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Bird Dog Club in Amo, Indiana. He loved going fishing and hunting with his bird dogs, English pointer's and German short haired pointer's. In his earlier years, James enjoyed reading various comic books and traveling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include his loving wife, Cheryl (George) Marks; sons, Paul (Jessica) Marks, Matthew (Kelly) Marks and Adam Marks; brother, David Marks; sister, Roberta Marks; 2 grandchildren, Lorelai Marks and Oliver Marks.
