Jamie T. Glendy

Jamie T. Glendy, age 54, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed from this life in the evening hours of June 22, 2026. He was born in Danville, Indiana on February 28, 1972 to James T. Glendy and Shirley (Allen) Prather. Jamie really enjoyed his food, especially going out to eat with his family. He also had a great time taking "joy rides" in the car with his mother, Shirley, and step father, Perry. The family would frequently go boating at Monroe and Morse Lake and take Jamie along for the ride, as it was his favorite activity. Jamie is preceded in death by his father, James T. Glendy; grandmother, Virginia Allen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St. Plainfield, IN 46168) beginning at 1:00 p.m., where family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Prather; step-father, Perry Prather; sister, Brooke (Andrew) Bryant; uncles, Jerry Allen and Carl Allen; nieces/nephews, Harper, Makenna and Logan.
