She married Charles Kluesener on November 23, 1956, and soon started a family. Motherhood was a full-time job for sure. Her complete devotion to God and family were her greatest gifts attending Lafayette Heights and Belleville Churches of Christ and leading Sunday School classes for over 60 years. Janet loved sports, especially baseball, football, basketball and racing. She always said if girls sports were around in her time, she would have participated in them all. The Cincinnati Reds were her favorite team, Johnny Bench her favorite player. She was an avid bowler, playing on a Wednesday morning league for several years while bowling many high-scoring games.  Janet is survived by four sons, Keith A. (Barbara), Kevin W., Kent D., and Kurt E. Kluesener; a daughter, Kathy J. (Dan) Eoff; two brothers, Charles (Gerry) and Richard Carpenter; three sisters, Linda (Stanley) Amado, Nina Hughett, and Carol (Letchard) Maners; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Kluesener.  Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 7 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
