Janet A. Myers

Janet A. Myers, 79, of Danville, passed away on December 4, 2022 surrounded buy loving family members.  She was born on December 6, 1942 in Lancaster, WI to the late Owen Wiedman and Adaline Schmidt.  Janet was a loving wife, mother, Mimi and a dedicated homemaker.  She enjoyed decorating, shopping, laughing and was a wine connoisseur.  Janet loved spending time with her family as often as she could.  A Memorial service will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:00 pm.  Survivors include her loving husband, Myron "Bud" Myers; daughters, Amy (Jeff) Hessler and Anne (Mike) Ledbetter; brother, Owen Wiedman; half sister, Alta Bennets; grandchildren, Emily, Maggy and Zachary Hessler.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent online to the Alzheimers Association or mailed to (225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601).
