Janice Abney

Janice Abney, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on May 13, 2019.  She was born on December 14, 1933 in Celina, TN to the late Ira Curtis Sr. and Cassie Hunter.  Janice was a loving wife, mother and dedicated homemaker to her family.  She enjoyed gardening and canning food in her free time.  Funeral services will be Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 (noon) until time of the service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include her son, Lanny Abney; daughters, Debbie Colclazier, Sandra Abney, Susan Abney and Denise Lynn (David) Bailey;  brothers, Ira Curtis Jr. and J.D. Hunter; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
