Jeannette A. Lehman

Jeannette A. Lehman, 94, of Avon, passed away December 13, 2018.  She was born December 16, 1923 to the late Charles and Anna (Kobala) Karda in Cleveland, OH.  She graduated #1 in her class at Collinwood High School in Ohio.  While living in Ohio she worked as a secretary at various firms including Marquette Metals, a legal secretary and the Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance Co.  As a housewife in Indiana she was considered an excellent cook, and she enjoyed working crosswords puzzles in a short period in ink!  She enjoyed traveling and was  a member of the Indiana Travel Study Group.  Jeannette is survived by her son, Philip C. Lehman; a daughter, Priscilla L. Lehman; and a grandson, Aaron L Lehman.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Louis Lehman, and a daughter, Linda Ann Lehman.  As she wished, there will be a private graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
