Jerry Heffernan

Jerry Heffernan, 73, of Terre Haute, passed away on March 13, 2020. He was born in Washington, IN to the late John Robert Heffernan and Thelma Strange. Jerry was a manager for Meis department store for 25 years. He retired and started his own company called Restaurant Sales & Supplies. Jerry was formerly a member at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Terre Haute. He was currently a member at the Crossroads Church in Avon. Jerry liked antiques and to build things. He loved to travel with his wife when ever they could. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Heffernan; step father, Gene Strange; step brother, Phil Strange. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Heffernan; son, Sean Heffernan; daughter, Carisa (Kyle) Olson; sisters, Patty (Jaret) Gray and Pam Worland; two step-brothers, J.D. Strange, Michael Strange; a sister-in-law, Kay Heffernan; grandchildren, Cale, Colter and Cooper Heffernan, Anslee and Tate Olson; service dog, Sophie.
