Jim L. Massie

     Jim L. Massie, 73, of Plainfield, passed away on January 3, 2019. He was born on December 27, 1945 in Hazard, KY. Jim was a truck driver for Liquid Transport for 30 years. He was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653. Jim enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Hook; step father, Ernest "Doggy" Hook; brother, Pete Hook. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, January 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm with a masonic service at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Massie; sons, Jimmie (Kimberly) and Jason (Lisa) Massie; brothers, Glenn Massie and Donnie Hook; sister, Karen Hook; grandchildren, Ashton, Taylor, Justin, Scotty and Josey; 3 great grandchildren.
