John "Buddy" Daum

John W. "Buddy" Daum, 61, of Plainfield, passed away on June 19, 2025.  He was born on February 22, 1964 in Indianapolis to the late John A. and Estella "Charleen" Daum.  Buddy worked as a truck driver for Lynn Trucking.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening in his free time.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his son, John Jakob Daum; sisters, Sharon (Carter) Huff, Susan Clay-Daum and Judy (Randy) Pfeifer.  The family would like to thank the Plainfield Police Departmernt and the Plainfield Fire Territory.
