John M. Myers

John M. Myers, 74, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020.  He was born on April 25, 1946 in Frankfort, IN to the late Lawrence and Othella (Small) Myers.  John was a United States Vietnam Army Veteran, a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy, and a successful businessman.  John was a Past Master at Brownsburg Masonic Lodge #241.  John loved his wife and children, and especially enjoyed cheering on his grandkids at all of their activities.  He enjoyed golfing in his free time.  He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Myers; brothers, Larry and Jack Myers and a sister, Wanna Wells.   Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca (Coleman) Myers; daughter, Lisa (Larry) Crane; daughter, Amber (Jesse) Phillips; son, Johnny (Wendy) Myers; sisters, Alma Reed, Donna Shover, Lou Williams, Darlene Nahre and Alice Myers; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Memorial services will be private.  A Celebration Of Life for the public will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Myers at:  https://indyhonorflight.org/donate/
