John W. Sallee

John W. Sallee, 73, of Stilesville, passed away on January 11, 2022.  He was born on January 27, 1948 in Indiana to the late Delbert and Fayetta Sallee.  John was a fork truck driver for 30 plus years with Navistar retiring in 2011.  He enjoyed gardening, traveling, collecting diecast model cars and showing his 1977 Ford F 100 at local car shows.  John loved spending time with his family as often as he could.  John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cheryl Sallee.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 18, at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include his son, Bryan (Becky) Sallee; daughter, Stacey Sallee (Scott Shields); grandchildren, Brittany (Cody) Kline, Brandyce Sallee (Cody Heller) and Brenna (Daniel) Dieckmann; great grandchildren, Jagger and Brixtyn Kline, Huxley Dieckmann and Harley Kline.
