Joseph S. Goode

Joseph S. Goode, 64, of Clayton, passed away October 5, 2019. He was born August 5, 1955 to the late William and Helen (West) Goode in Indianapolis, IN. He was a mechanic for YRC Freight for 20 years retiring in 2017. He was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church, Teasmsters Local #135, the American Legion, Plainfield Eagles #3207 and the NRA. Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy A. (Brunner) Goode; a son, Donald E. Joseph; 4 daughters, Gwen M. (Jerry) Van Blaricum, Jennifer L. (David) Mitchell, Teresa M. (Travis) Johnson, and Michelle A. Goode-Kelley; a brother, Don (Cathy) Goode; two sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Detamore and Terry Miller; 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. County Road 0, Hazelwood, IN, where friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until service time at 6:00 pm. A private burial will be held at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
