Joseph David Lach

Joseph David Lach, 80, of Avon, passed away on December 16, 2020.  He was born on February 11, 1940 in New Castle, PA to Harry and Dorothy Flansburg Lach.  Joe graduated from Shortridge High School and Sams Technical Institute.  He was an United States Air Force veteran and a past Scout Master of the Boy Scout Troop #147.  Joe was a member of the American Legion Wayne Post #64.  He was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church.  Joe is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Harrison) Lach; sons, Perry (Melissa) and David (Julie) Lach; grandchildren, Conner, Hannah, Halle and Harper Lach; brother, Thomas Lach; sisters, Marjory Jafari and Katheryn Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Leah Jemison.  Funeral services will be private and burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Clayton Cemetery Association (2276 E.
