Joseph H. Looker, age 75 of Clayton, Indiana peacefully went home to be with the Lord in the evening hours of Good Friday, April 3, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Joe was born in Jacksonville, Illinois to the late Frank P. Looker and Mary Ellen (Morrow) Looker on May 5, 1950. He graduated from Ambia High School in 1968 and continued his education at Vincennes University. Joe then married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Patti (Graves) July 4, 1970.

He and his family moved to Plainfield, Indiana in 1990 and grew to be members of Plainfield Christian Church where Joe enjoyed singing in the choir and playing in the praise band. Friday morning men’s breakfast and Bible study was something he looked forward to each week.
He and his wife Patti enjoyed several months of the year in Ft. Myers Beach with their Harbour Pointe friends. Continuing to be servants of God, they became associate members at Anchor Christian Church in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Joe was a past master at the Tippecanoe Masonic Lodge # 492 and a past commander in chief at the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing, singing, playing his guitar, watching Purdue basketball (BOILER UP!) and also playing a round of golf in his spare time. Most of all, he loved spending quality time with his family and friends.
