Judith Marie Brocious

Judith Marie Brocious, 83, of Plainfield, passed away on April 20, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1941 in Kane, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph R. Korchak and Eleanor (Misulich) Korchak. Judith received her Associate's degree in Nursing from Hamot Nursing School in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1962. She worked as a registered nurse for over 39 years for Hendricks Regional, Kendrick Hospital and St. Francis before retiring in 2002. She also was a member of the American Business Women's Association. Judith is preceded in death by her husband, Clair William Brocious Jr.; brother, Thomas J. Korchak; grandchild, Christian Brocious. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at St. Susanna Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her two sons, William Jon (Alma) Brocious and Brian David (Colleen) Brocious; sister, Cheryl Leasure; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Amelia, Matthew, Patrick and Jake Brocious. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Susanna Catholic Church.
