Julia J. Wade

Julia J. Wade, 72, of Avon, passed away on April 20, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis on November 8, 1947 to the late Howard and Mary (Patton) Mabe.  Julia graduated from Kokomo High School in 1965.  She worked for First Merchants Bank in Indianapolis in her earlier years.  Julia was an active member of the social Sorority Beta Sigma Phi.  She retired as an office manager for Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Copper & Brass in Brownsburg. Julia enjoyed traveling and showing their old car at car shows with close friends and family.  She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Julia volunteered for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Indiana Chapter. Funeral services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include her husband, Tim Wade; son, Bryan (Michelle) Wade; daughters, Kerri (Steve) Peebles and Stacy (Ryan) Maxwell; brother, Greg (Maria) Mabe; sister, Rita Mabe; 11 Grandchildren.
