Karen Parks

Karen Parks, 79, of Danville, passed away February 2, 2023. She was born October 13, 1943 to the late Coleman and Grace (Edwards) Farthing. Karen worked as a data entry associate for Mayflower Trucking, King's Systems and L.S. Ayers. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and ceramics. Karen also liked following the lifestyles of her favorite movie stars. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her husband, Jack Parks; sons, Scott (Susan) Parks and Jack (Cami) Parks; a daughter, Jackie (Kevin) Turner; brother, Duane Farthing; sister, Coleen Austin; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.
