Kathleen Piel

Kathleen Piel, 90, of Plainfield, passed away on May 11, 2022.  She was born on March 31, 1932 in Roscommon, Ireland to the late Christopher and Mary Fullard.  Kathleen worked in the cafeteria for the Plainfield School system for 20 years.  She enjoyed gardening and bird watching in her free time.  Kathleen loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Hand; 2nd husband, Gordon Jones and her 3rd husband, Ronald Piel; several brothers and sisters; grandchild, Adam Galyan.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm in St. Susanna Catholic Church (1210 E. Main Street, Plainfield, IN, 46168) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Randy) Galyan and Suzanne (Tim Divens) Hand; sisters, Sadie LoRusso and Nellie Clarke; grandchildren, Michael (Jade) Galyan, Quinn, Chloe and Keegan Divens; great grandchildren, Harper and Connor Galyan.
