Kay Ann Acton

Kay Ann Acton, 65, of Plainfield, passed away on August 14, 2024.  She was born on October 12, 1958 in Plainfield to the late Wayne and Loretta Acton.  Kay worked for Sealed Air as a factory worker for many years.  She enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible.  Kay loved her family especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by siblings, Ross Acton, Rex Acton, Gayle Mayo and Janet Acton.  Funeral services will be on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her children, Jason (Brandi) Acton and Jessica (Chris) Perry; brother, Ray (Linda) Acton; sisters, Fay (George) Cheeks, Jane Mayo and Jill (Douglas) Albrecht; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
