Kay F. Richardson

Kay F. Richardson, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on July 14, 2026.  She was born on April 30, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Wayne and Harrietta Pence.  Kay received her Master's from Indiana University.  She was a teacher in the IPS school system before retiring.  Kay enjoyed reading, playing cards, watching Broadway shows and was an IU and Fever basketball fan.  She made mini doll houses in her earlier years.  Kay loved spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Richardson.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, IN.  Survivors include son, Darrell (Nikki) Richardson; daughters, Ronda (Terry) Puskarich, Sondra (Mike) Bowman, Kim Trissel, Tracie (Jeff) Curtis, Pennie (Bill) Hoover and Nancie Cloe; sister, Beverly Moss; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren with 1 on the way!
