Keith V. Robbins

Keith V. Robbins, 94, of Plainfield, passed away February 26, 2018. He was born February 25, 1924 to the late Micajer and Esther (Tackett) Robbins in Maywood, IN. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He worked for Eli Lilly for 35 years retiring as group leader in 1985. He also worked for Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Homes for 25 years retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707. Keith is survived by his daughter, Karen S. (John) Dowell; 2 grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Lesher and Jay (Amy) Dowell; 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosaleen Robbins; a son, Keith Richard Robbins; a daughter, Kristi Lynn Robbins; and two sisters, Joan Baker and Juanita Stutz. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am in the Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road) on Friday, March 2. Burial with military honors will be at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
