Lavon Blunk

Lavon Blunk, 102, of Plainfield, passed away on June 19, 2020. She was born on May 2, 1918 in Richmond, IN to the late John Drowd and Belva Ferguson. Lavon was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield. Lavon enjoyed crochet, playing the piano, playing games on the computer, traveling by any form of transportation and was a talented artist in her younger years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Blunk just a few day’s prior. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:00 am in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville, IN. Survivors include her son, John (Joyce) Isom; 5 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
