Lowell Glen “LG” Fisher, 87, of Stilesville, passed away August 23, 2020. He was born April 25, 1933 to the late Elmer and Bernadine (Vaughn) Fisher in Stilesville, IN. He was an US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and a former member of the Hazelwood Christian Church, and a member of the American Legion Post #118 and 145. He was a lifelong farmer in Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam counties. LG is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Nichols) Fisher; a son, Dr. Michael Duane (Claire) Fisher; three step-daughters, Dawnell (Mark) Stewart, Debra (Vadim) Byely, and Leslie (Mark) Navarre; two grandchildren, 1st LT (Army) Glen Fisher and 2nd LT (Army) Susan Fisher; and 7 step-grandchildren, Jacob Stewart, Jessica Stewart-Mitchell, Emily Navarre-Williams, Ben Navarre, Gabriel Navarre, Isaac Byely, and Olivia Byely; and 3 great step-grandchildren, Kevin Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, and Jemma Navarre-Williams. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Fisher. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:30 am on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Services will be private. Burial, with military honors, will be in Stilesville Cemetery.
