Lucille "Jackie" Harris

Lucille "Jackie" Harris, 96, of Plainfield, passed away on August 21, 2022.  She was born on August 23, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late Herbert and Lottie Hall.  Jackie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.  She liked doing crochet and sitting outside at night time to enjoy nature.  Jackie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Harris; brothers, Jim James and Bud Hall; sisters, June Smith, Lillian Gibson and Alice Byrne; grand daughter, Julie Wilson.  Funeral services will be Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her son, Tim (Becky) Harris; daughters, La Tonna (Jim) Bridgewater, Joyce (Bill) Miller, Jill (Ted) Love and Tracy (Dave) Fowler; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
