Madeline E. Baar

Madeline E. Baar, 97, of Plainfield, passed away on September 28, 2019. She was born on December 31, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Luther and Bertha Worthington. Madeline worked for RCA as a record press operator for 26 years retiring in 1980. She was a long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and currently a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church. Madeline enjoyed doing crafts in her free time and loved going bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Baar; several brothers and sisters; sons in law, David Kramp and Michael Sherrow. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on October 4, 2019 in St. Susanna Catholic Church (1210 E. Main St. Plainfield, IN 46168) at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Mary (Lew) Sharp, Tony (Helen) Baar, Sandy Kramp, Barbara (Dave) Sharp and Joe (Jill) Baar; sister, Delores (Gene) Gray; 10 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
