Margaret Coy

Margaret Coy, 95, of Plainfield, passed away on November 19, 2018.  She was born in Plainfield, IN on December 29, 1922 to the late Fred and Hazel Price.  Margaret was the co-owner of two Ben Franklin Department Stores, one was in Delphi and the other in Monticello.  She enjoyed playing Bridge at the Tippecanoe Country Club in her earlier years.  Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, George Coy; daughters, Margo Alkire and Diane Coy; several brothers and sisters.  Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home at 11:00 am where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her grandchildren, Brooke Hoster, Brian, Brett and Brandon Alkire; 8 great grandchildren.
