Margaret "Jane" Richardson

Margaret "Jane" Richardson, 89, of Avon, passed away on December 13, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis on March 10, 1928 to the late Robert and Eva (Buskirk) Yorger. Jane was a loving mother and dedicated homemaker. She belonged to the Mooresville Friends Church. Jane was a Washington Township 4-H leader for 20 years and belonged to the Avon Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing quilts in her spare time. Jane was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Gladden, Roberta Shaw, and Mary Katherine Douglas. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 18, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Robert Richardson; sons, Bob (Nancy), Bruce (Becky) and Dan (Carol) Richardson; daughter, Mary Beth (David) Reese; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
