Mark A. Hale

Mark Hale, 63, of Plainfield, passed away on August 28, 2020 at home after a short battle with cancer. He was born on February 3, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late Revel Gene and Natalie JoAnn (Runyon) Hale. Mark was an United States Army veteran. He worked for the State of Indiana for over 40 years with both the Department of Corrections and the Indiana Budget Department. Mark was a doodler and had an artistic side that he has passed on to the boys. He was a collector of bald eagle memorabilia. There will be no services or calling. Mark was preceeded in death by both parents; brothers, Michael and Terry. Survivors include his sons, Newton and Mark Hale Jr.; brother, Timothy Hale; niece, Janet Barker; great niece Adilynn and his beloved dog, George. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in the boys names.
