Martha B. Silliman

Martha B. Silliman, 95, of Plainfield, passed away June 8, 2018.  She was born April 30, 1923 to the late Robert and Iva (Kemp) Barnes in Indianapolis, IN.  She was a lifelong member of the Light and Life Free Methodist Church.  She worked 39 years for Allison Div. of GM retiring as the area manager in 1988.  Martha is survived by a son, Stephen C. (Wendy) Silliman; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin (Michelle) Silliman and Courtney (Raymond) Nawara; and two great grandchildren, Alexandra and Benjamin Jr. Silliman.  She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 in the Light and Life Free Methodist Church, 8264 E. County Road 100 S, Avon, IN 46123.  Funeral services will also be in the church on Tuesday, June 12 at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  www.hamptongentry.com
