Mary V. Gilcrest

Mary V. Gilcrest, 84, formerly of Chicago, passed away on February 9, 2020.  She was born on April 4, 1935 in Cadiz, KY to the late John and Pearline Carliss.  Mary was a nurse for over 20 years.  She enjoyed dancing in her earlier years.  Mary loved when her family would come and visit with her.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, James, William and Nathaniel Carliss; sisters, Ruth Grooms and Florence Wadlington.  Funeral services will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm in the Breeding Tabernacle CME Church (N. Leland Ave, Indianapolis, IN, 46218) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service.  Survivors include many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
