Mary Jo Rush

Mary Jo Rush, 70, of Plainfield, passed away January 31, 2018. She was born November 13, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Richard Clem and Bessie Marie Feldman. Jo worked for Remax Realty since 2001. Prior to that she co-owned Home Pro Realtors in Plainfield many years. Her memberships include The Friday Club, Hendricks County Community Foundation of which she was an original member of the board of directors. Jo was past President of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce and former board member of Hendricks Regional Health. She was also a past member of Plainfield Community School PTO. Jo received several realty awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award from Hendricks County Mibor and Realtor of the Year. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 6, at 10:30 am in Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road), where friends may call on Monday, February 5, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dick Feldman and Jean Wergland. Survivors include her son, Jason (Amber) Mead; brother, Robert (Judy) Feldman; sister, Grace (Jack) Propes; grandchildren, Payton and Jayci Mead. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hendricks County Community Foundation with proceeds going to the Damon Leach Memorial Scholarship Fund.
