Michael Grabarz

Michael V. Grabarz, 82, of Plainfield, passed away on June 3, 2026.  He was born in South Bend on July 16, 1943 to the late Frank and Marie.  Mike retired from Duke Energy as an electrical engineer.  He was big into astronomy and even built his own telescope.  Mike enjoyed wood working, fishing and hunting in his earlier years.  He loved spending time with his family.  Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina Evilsizer; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in St. Thomas More (1200 N. Indiana Street, Mooresville, IN 46158) at 12:00 pm (noon) where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.  Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Grabarz; sons, Mike (Andrea) and Andrew Grabarz; daughter, Angela Reever; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
