Michael T. Martin

Michael T. Martin, of Cartersburg, passed away May 19, 2019.  He was born March 20, 1964 in Mattoon, IL.   He was a professional painter and owned and operated with his wife Martin & Martin Painting Co for 17 years.  He loved fishing and hunting and loved the outdoors and his cats.  Mike is survived by his wife Elaine S. (Vedder) Martin; a son, Dillon C. Martin; his mother, Carol (Henry) Winn; his father, Donald D. Martin; a brother, Rodney Jon Gray; and a sister, Carrie Sue Martin-Orndorff.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 23 in the funeral home.  Inurnment will be later at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
