Mims "Mitch" Roberts Jr.

Mims "Mitch" Roberts Jr., 63, of Plainfield, passed away on November 27, 2024.  He was born on November 20, 1961 in New Orleans, LA to Mims Sr. and Emily Roberts.  Mitch was a senior control technician for IU Health University Hospital.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snorkeling and going on diving trips.  Mitch belonged to the NRA, NMLRA and the Cloverdale Conservation Club.  He attended Connection Pointe Christian Church.  Mitch loved spending time with his family.  A Celebration Of Life will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, 1800 N. Green St., Brownsburg, IN 46112, where friends may call at the church from 3:00 pm until service time at 5:00 pm.  Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Roberts; parents, Mims Sr. and Emily Roberts; sons, Arron (Katie), Austin (Abby) and Justin (Hayley) Roberts; in-laws,  Pete and Donna Stewart; step grandchild, Kevin Hart; adopted grandchild, Kaylin; beloved dog, Bee.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
