Morgan Brent Mayes

Morgan Brent Mayes, 35, of Danville, IN, passed away February 16, 2021.  He was born November 23, 1985 in Panama City, FL to Rick and Kathy (Ulrey) Mayes.

Morgan was a 2004 graduate of Avon High School, and was a manager at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Above all else, Morgan loved spending time with his daughter, Ayva Grace, and coaching and mentoring members of the Indiana Smoke softball team.

In addition to his parents, Morgan is survived by his daughter, Ayva, his brother, Mitchell (Amber) Mayes, and grandmother, Nadine Mayes. Morgan was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Lee Mayes, paternal grandfather, Bobby Mayes, and his maternal grandparents, Lee and Joan Ulrey. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. A private family service will follow.
