Nancy Gee

Nancy E. Gee, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on April 15, 2026. She was born on July 23, 1940, in Washington, IN, to the late Dr. Henry and Mayme Coleman. Nancy was a dedicated homemaker, a teacher's assistant at Central Elementary for 30 years, and she was a member of the Plainfield church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching local sports, especially I.U. in her free time. Nancy loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey Gee of over 60 years. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Anita (Scott) Stevenson, Jill Gee, and Beth (David) Simpson; son, Steve (Deb) Gee; brother, Bill (Millie) Coleman; sister, Jane (Jerry) Hayes; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
