Nola Josephine Sowder

Nola Josephine Sowder, 90, of Plainfield, passed away December 7, 2017. She was born April 1, 1927 to the late Harris and Emily (Melton) Wooton in Wooton, KY. She was a homemaker. She loved the Indiana Pacers and crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She made many friends while at the Mill Run Community and will be missed. Nola is survived by a daughter, Jina F. Segovia; four sons, Charles, (Virginia Goll), David (Sue), James Jr. (Sheila) and John (Larinda) Sowder; a brother, Earl Wooton; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Saturday December 9, 2017 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.
