Norma P. Miller, 99, of Danville, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on May 26, 1926 to the late Albert and Pauline Haley. Norma grew up on a farm and she developed a life long love for raising flowers and gardening. After raising her 3 boys she returned to college completing her Bachelor's of Education degree at Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma. Norma received her Masters from Oklahoma University in Art. She was a professor for Central State University in the Art department and active in the Oklahoma art culture until her retirement. Norma was a member of the Plainfield Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, drawing and sculpting in her free time. Norma loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Miller; siblings, Sid Haley, Jane Yarbrough and Eileen Monger. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include her sons, Randall L. (Nancy), Paul Douglas (Deena) and John Scott (Diane) Miller; grandchildren, Haley (Mark) Nirrengarten, Bryan (Anna) Miller, Matthew (Kellie) Miller, Megan (Matt) Mills and Maranda (Cameron) Creamer; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
