Norman R. Mundy

Norman R. Mundy, 87, of Plainfield, passed away on March 16, 2021.  He was born on February 27, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Paul and Freida Mundy.  Norman was an United States Army veteran.  He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight for 26 years retiring in 1998.  Norman enjoyed fishing, big band music, singing, swing dancing and watching I.U. Basketball.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Leigh Mundy; 5 brothers; 1 sister and grand daughter, Alyssa Allen.  Funeral services and burial will be private in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon Mundy; daughters, Kelly (Mark) Allen and Tracy Mundy; sisters, Jane Byrd, Nancy Slade and Diane Simmons; grandchildren, Michelle (Josh) Peltier, Michael Allen, Corey (Cassie), Aaron and Drew Vanhook; 6 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Richard L.
